This was submitted to me VIA email. Al-Fatir (@_AlFatir) coming out of Connecticut, debuts here today with his most recent project Man From The Sky. Here is what he says about it.
"A lot of people have been askin' me what #MFTS is goin' to be like...is it an album? Is it a mixtape? Honestly, it's neither. I would say it's more of a project. It was exactly what I wanted to do and a mirror reflection of my current mental. A conjunction of life experience and knowledge gained. Pain and loss. It's dark but hopeful. If that makes any sense..It's a little political at times as well but for the most part, it's me. Al-Fatir. ...And I'm only gettin' better at givin' you me."Man From The Sky is an edgy, dreamy work that at only 10 tracks, leaves the listener wanting more.
